The death occurred at The Coombs Nursing Home on 19th October 2017 of Mrs Alma Kelly, aged 95 years of Berry Hill.

The funeral service took place at Christchurch Parish Church on Monday 6th November with Rev. Capt. Tony Williams CA officiating. The church organist, Mr Robert Aston played Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring on entry and exit from the church and accompanied the singing of the hymns How Great Thou Art, Rock of Ages and Amazing Grace. The Eulogy was read by James Kilmartin (grandson).

The service was followed by committal at the Forest of Dean Crematorium. On entry to the crematorium, a recording of Adagio in G Minor'Albinoni's Adagio' by the London Philharmonic Orchestra was played.
